Harley-Davidson Supports Motorcycle Ride For Dad in 2012

Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada is proud to announce its sponsorship support of the 2012 Motorcycle Ride For Dad fundrasing campaign. The Motorcycle Ride For Dad has been taking place in Canada for over ten years, raising awareness and more than nine million dollars towards fighting prostate cancer.

The partnership with Motorcycle Ride For Dad reinforces the leadership role of Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada in an important cause that resonates with many Canadian Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts. Prostate cancer affects one in seven men, and by association, their families and loved ones. Taking place in over thirty major cities and representing every Canadian province, Motorcycle Ride For Dad allows Deeley Harley‑Davidson Canada to actively reach out to those affected by prostate cancer, while exercising a passion for the open road.

“We are so proud of the support we have received from Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada,” said Garry Janz, president of Motorcycle Ride For Dad – Canada. “Their generosity makes what we do possible. Being able to thank our participants for their incredible fundraising efforts by offering them a Harley-Davidson motorcycle as a prize incentive is amazing!”

“Partnering with Motorcycle Ride For Dad is a very natural fit for us”, says Dom Bovalino, Marketing Director for Deeley Harley‑Davidson Canada. “Harley-Davidson [motorcycle] enthusiasts, in particular our most loyal Customers, the H.O.G. members, feel very strongly for charitable causes such as this one. We are very proud of how much passion and enthusiasm community-friendly Harley-Davidson motorcyclists put into supporting numerous charitable causes across the country”.

To register for the ride in your community, or learn about ride routes and how to qualify for a chance to win an all-new Harley-Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two motorcycle, visit www.motorcycleridefordad.org. Participating authorized Harley-Davidson Retailers that are supporting the cause will be setting up a variety of interactive displays along the various ride routes.
