MV Agusta Motorcycles available in Canada through Motovan

“We have finally succeeded in obtaining all of the necessary approvals from the Canadian authorities, therefore the motorcycles can be imported into Canada for the very first time in the history of MV Agusta," said Umberto Uccelli, sales director for MV Agusta. "After many inquiries from Canadian consumers, we are very proud to have reached an agreement with a reputable Canadian powersports organization such as Motovan.”

James Paladino, President and CEO of Motovan Corporation is an Italo-Candian who has always helped maintain Italy’s unique image.

“We are very happy to be associated with MV Agusta so that our passion lives on in our family," Paladino said. "To me, this is a tribute to my father (founder of Motovan) since he worked on MV Agusta motorcycles in the 1950’s from his shop in a little village in Italy."

In the very near future, Motovan will appoint a small number of high-level dealers in order to sell this prestigious brand. For the first year, the number of motorcycles will be extremely limited, therefore Motovan will be launching a website www.mvagustacanada.com that allows the serious buyer the possibility to reserve his or her motorcycle on-line.

MV Agusta Canada motorcycle will be managed seperately from other Motovan activities and a small number of dealers will be selected based on very strict MV Agusta guidelines. Futhermore, for model year 2011 motorcycles, MSRP's will be establised by MV Agusta Italy and will be closely in line with MV Agusta USA MSRP's.

In the coming days Motovan will be launching www.mvagustacanada.com which will provide information on MV Agusta motorcycle as well as a "Reserve your MV Agusta" section which allows serious buyers the option of reserving/pre-ordering their motorcycle online since motorcycles will be extremely limited in the next year.

Enthusiasts can also follow MV Agusta Canada on Facebook at www.facebook.com/MVAgustaCanada and also on Twitter at twitter.com/@MVAgusta_Canada.
