fine tune their machinery for rain conditions.

Racers in the popular Lightweight Supersport Class spent most of the time on the track today gaining significant experience which will help them as they

practice times for this class were Bob Melee of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia
on board his Shore Cycle sponsored CBR250R; while the top 125cc rider was
the O'Leary Brothers Racing pilot Jacob Shaw-O'leary of Falmouth, Nova
Scotia on his Pro Cycle Sponsored CBR125R. This class continues to be an

dry conditions, and throughout the season.

Also some of the top Pro Superbike pilots made it out on the track today.
Topping the timesheets was current Atlantic Superbike Champion Ron Munroe, of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia on board his Freedom Cycle / Canadian Kawasaki Motors sponsored ZX10R. He was followed closely by Rookie Pro
Austin Shaw-O'Leary running out of the O'Leary Brothers Racing pits on his

Father's Day Gift Ideas from Harley-Davidson Motor Company

Engineered as a body temperature-regulating base layer, the newest H‑DPerformance Sportswear shirts from the Harley-Davidson MotorClothes line keep riders cool and comfortable on hot days. Both the Garage Performance Shirt (P/N 96524-13VM) and the Bold Short-Sleeve Performance Shirt (P/N 96518-13VM) are constructed from moisture-wicking 100 per cent cotton twill that has been treated with UPF-30 to protect against the sun’s harmful rays. A mesh insert at the back yoke increases airflow, while anti-microbial properties eliminate bacteria and odours during normal wear. They are available in S – 5XL sizes.

The new line of men’s Hydration Headwear from the Harley-Davidson MotorClothes line delivers air-conditioned cooling in higher temperatures. Each item is lined with mesh and an embedded HyperKewl fabric that, after being soaked in water for 1-2 minutes, slowly evaporates the water to create a cooling effect against the skin. The result is comfortable cooling of your head during hot weather.

The Hydration Neck Band (P/N 99444-13VM) is the perfect alternative to a throwaway tie for Father’s Day. TheHydration Skull Cap (P/N 99443-13VM) features adjustable back closures.

The new men’s Burning Skull Full-Finger Gloves with Touchscreen Technology (P/N 98252-13VM) from the Harley-Davidson MotorClothes line provide optimal care with the ease of touchscreen technology. The gloves are constructed from a combination of goatskin leather, perforated goatskin, and 100 per cent polyester mesh for maximum comfort. They feature a touchscreen-compatible index finger and thumb for convenience; an ergonomic thumb, pre-curved fingers, and power-stretch knuckles for a natural fit while riding; and a gel-padded palm for additional relief. Available in S – 3XL sizes.

BMW Motorrad success in May

BMW Motorrad had a successful May with sales climbing 14.2% to 13,081 vehicles (prev. yr. 11,457). In the first five months of 2013, BMW Motorrad increased sales by 7.1% to 52,400 (prev. yr. 48,918) vehicles.

BMW Motorrad achieves double-digit growth in May 2013.

Munich.  BMW sold 14.2 % more vehicles than in the same month last year and achieved a new all-time high for the month of May. 13,081 units (prev. yr.: 11,457 units) were supplied to customers worldwide last month. 52,400  motorcycles and maxi scooters (prev. yr.: 48,918 units) had been sold as of May - an increase of 7,1% over the previous year.

Heiner Faust, Head of BMW Sales and Marketing: "We have achieved our best May result to date with double-digit growth as compared to the previous year. We are currently 7,1% above last year with an all-time first-quarter high in 2013, a record in April and a very strong May. While we are pleased to say that the very difficult markets of Southern Europe, Italy, Spain and France are showing very stable sales results, we are seeing especially good growth rates in the overseas markets of North and South America, Asia and Russia. Germany - our strongest single market - is also seeing a positive trend in spite of the unfavourable climate situation. The main driving force behind this development is provided by our new models, the BMW R 1200 GS, BMW F 800 GT and BMW HP4 as well as our maxi scooters, of course. We are anticipating another powerful stimulus from our new travel enduro, the F 800 GS Adventure, which goes out to dealerships in mid-June.
